PROFIT POPS: The Coca-Cola Co. says its profit rose 4 percent in the third quarter, although revenue came in shy of Wall Street expectations.

FOREX FALLS FLAT: The company's revenue rose 1 percent for the period as it was hit by unfavorable currency exchange rates. Not including the impact of exchange rates, the company said revenue rose 6 percent.

FIZZY MARKETS: Sales volume in developed markets such as North America rose 2 percent, but volume in emerging markets such as India rose 7 percent.
