NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top department store retail companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Kohl's Corp. rose $.74 or 1.4 percent, to $52.45.

Macy's Inc. rose $.56 or 1.4 percent, to $40.47.

Nordstrom rose $.93 or 1.7 percent, to $56.63.

J.C. Penney Co. rose $.24 or .9 percent, to $26.12.

Saks fell $.03 or .3 percent, to $10.48.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $1.85 or 3.1 percent, to $62.17.

TJX Companies fell $.26 or .6 percent, to $43.10.
