Clorox rose $.53 or .7 percent, to $74.86.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. rose $.13 or .1 percent, to $108.59.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. rose $.39 or .5 percent, to $86.66.

Procter & Gamble Co. rose $.29 or .4 percent, to $69.00.
