Apollo Group fell $.50 or 1.7 percent, to $28.37.

Career Education Corp. fell $.30 or 7.1 percent, to $3.90.

DeVry fell $.92 or 3.8 percent, to $23.37.

Strayer Education Inc. fell $2.26 or 3.3 percent, to $66.45.
