DR Horton rose $.12 or .6 percent, to $20.73.

Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. rose $.03 or .8 percent, to $3.70.

Lennar Corp. fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $36.78.

Pulte Homes Inc. rose $.12 or .8 percent, to $15.89.
