NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top computer companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Apple Inc. rose $5.06 or .8 percent, to $640.91.

Dell Inc. fell $.13 or 1.4 percent, to $9.43.

Hewlett Packard Co. fell $.19 or 1.3 percent, to $14.18.

International Business Machines Corp. fell $2.17 or 1.0 percent, to $205.82.

Lexmark International Inc. fell $.34 or 1.6 percent, to $20.73.
