Officials discuss energy assistance issues

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Social service agencies are teaming up with Delmarva Power to discuss wintertime energy issues affecting low-income residents in the mid-Atlantic region.

Scheduled speakers at Tuesday's Low Income Energy Summit in Dover include U.S. Sen. Chris Coons, Dover Mayor Carleton Carey and Felecia Greer, director of the customer advocate office for Pepco Holdings, Delmarva's parent company.

The summit will address issues affecting Delmarva and Pepco customers in Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
