NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading:

BP PLC fell $.24 or .6 percent, to $42.02.

Chevron fell $.26 or .2 percent, to $117.36.

ConocoPhillips rose $.18 or .3 percent, to $57.80.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.55 or .6 percent, to $92.13.

Marathon Oil Corp. unchanged at $29.60.
