BP PLC rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $42.30.

Chevron rose $.48 or .4 percent, to $118.10.

ConocoPhillips rose $.41 or .7 percent, to $58.03.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $.40 or .4 percent, to $93.08.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.22 or .7 percent, to $29.82.
