American Electric Power Co. rose $.02 or percent, to $44.46.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.67 or 1.1 percent, to $60.43.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.05 or .1 percent, to $53.38.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.61 or .9 percent, to $65.39.

Exelon rose $.41 or 1.2 percent, to $36.06.

PG&E rose $.35 or .8 percent, to $42.86.

Southern Co. rose $.12 or .3 percent, to $45.97.
