CSX rose $.11 or .5 percent, to $21.29.

Canadian National Railway Co. rose $.85 or 1.0 percent, to $89.51.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. rose $1.37 or 1.6 percent, to $87.29.

Kansas City Southern rose $1.49 or 2.0 percent, to $75.22.

Norfolk Southern Corp. rose $.58 or .9 percent, to $66.18.

Union Pacific rose $.93 or .8 percent, to $121.57.
