Aflac Inc. fell $.14 or .3 percent, to $47.42.

American International Group rose $.11 or .3 percent, to $33.58.

MBIA fell $.03 or .3 percent, to $10.30.

MGIC Investments Corp. fell $.04 or 2.2 percent, to $1.79.

MetLife fell $.29 or .8 percent, to $34.04.

XL Group PLC fell $.05 or .2 percent, to $24.49.
