Mondelez fell $.15 or .5 percent, to $27.67.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.10 or .5 percent, to $20.25.

J.M. Smucker Co. fell $.12 or .1 percent, to $87.01.

Tyson Foods Inc. fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $16.69.
