Caterpillar rose $.17 or .2 percent, to $86.21.

Deere & Co. rose $.75 or .9 percent, to $83.22.

Manitowoc rose $.20 or 1.5 percent, to $13.54.

Terex fell $.20 or .9 percent, to $22.38.
