NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies are down at 1 p.m.:

BP PLC fell $.61 or 1.4 percent, to $42.43.

Chevron fell $.68 or .6 percent, to $116.52.

ConocoPhillips fell $.26 or .5 percent, to $57.13.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.40 or .4 percent, to $91.40.

Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.45 or 1.5 percent, to $29.57.
