ACE L rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $75.60.

Aflac Inc. rose $.16 or .3 percent, to $47.88.

American International Group fell $.41 or 1.2 percent, to $32.79.

MBIA fell $.13 or 1.3 percent, to $10.13.

MGIC Investments Corp. unchanged at $1.53.

MetLife fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $34.46.

XL Group PLC fell $.04 or .2 percent, to $24.03.
