NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top machinery companies are mixed at 1 p.m.:

Caterpillar fell $.09 or .1 percent, to $86.86.

Deere & Co. rose $.43 or .5 percent, to $81.84.

Manitowoc rose $.45 or 3.5 percent, to $13.46.

Terex rose $.80 or 3.7 percent, to $22.69.
