Grains futures fall, livestock prices rise
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 13.75 cents to $8.5550 a bushel; December corn fell 8.50 cents to $7.1625 a bushel; December oats fell 6.75 cents to $3.6825 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 2.25 cents to $15.7075 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle added 0.23 cent to $1.2245 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.12 cent to $1.4622 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.35 cent to 77.22 cents a pound.
