NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top machinery companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Caterpillar fell $.03 or percent, to $86.92.

Deere & Co. rose $.69 or .8 percent, to $82.10.

Manitowoc rose $.52 or 4.0 percent, to $13.53.

Terex rose $.85 or 3.9 percent, to $22.74.
