NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top construction companies were up at the close of trading:

Fluor rose $.61 or 1.1 percent, to $56.61.

Foster Wheeler rose $.75 or 3.2 percent, to $23.80.

Quanta Services Inc. unchanged at $24.73.

Shaw Group rose $.13 or .3 percent, to $43.62.
