Chevron rose $.25 or .2 percent, to $118.05.

ConocoPhillips rose $.12 or .2 percent, to $57.48.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.16 or .2 percent, to $91.76.

Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.40 or 1.3 percent, to $30.38.
