Baxter International Inc. rose $.14 or .2 percent, to $61.15.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. rose $.26 or .8 percent, to $33.87.

Hospira fell $.39 or 1.1 percent, to $34.24.

Johnson & Johnson fell $.06 or .1 percent, to $69.00.

Eli Lilly & Co. fell $.06 or .1 percent, to $47.40.

Merck rose $.23 or .5 percent, to $45.14.

Pfizer rose $.24 or 1.0 percent, to $24.75.
