NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading:

BP PLC fell $.29 or .7 percent, to $43.00.

Chevron fell $.05 or percent, to $117.80.

ConocoPhillips fell $.23 or .4 percent, to $57.36.

Exxon Mobil Corp. rose $.40 or .4 percent, to $91.92.

Marathon Oil Corp. rose $.39 or 1.3 percent, to $30.78.
