American Electric Power Co. rose $.31 or .7 percent, to $43.83.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.02 or percent, to $59.46.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.11 or .2 percent, to $52.36.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.27 or .4 percent, to $63.43.

Exelon rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $35.50.

PG&E fell $.02 or percent, to $42.54.

Southern Co. rose $.21 or .5 percent, to $45.17.
