ACE L fell $.65 or .8 percent, to $76.20.

Aflac Inc. fell $.09 or .2 percent, to $48.60.

American International Group fell $.14 or .4 percent, to $34.26.

MBIA rose $.13 or 1.2 percent, to $11.31.

MGIC Investments Corp. rose $.03 or 1.9 percent, to $1.63.

MetLife fell $.20 or .6 percent, to $34.96.

XL Group PLC rose $.04 or .2 percent, to $24.31.
