Clorox rose $.50 or .7 percent, to $71.45.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. fell $.12 or .1 percent, to $105.89.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. rose $.74 or .9 percent, to $84.37.

Procter & Gamble Co. rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $69.26.
