Ayrshire adds 15 new jobs at Corinth, Miss. plant
CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — Ayrshire Electronics says the electronics manufacturing firm has added 15 new jobs as part of an expansion at the company's Alcorn County plant.
The company says in a news release that the expansion is Ayrshire's second in four years in Mississippi.
Louisville, Ky.,-based Ayrshire Electronics is a manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies and other products.
In October 2008, Ayrshire acquired the former ACT Electronics' Corinth plant after ACT announced its plans to close the facility and eliminate 200 jobs. Ayrshire retained ACT's full-time employees in Mississippi.
