BP PLC rose $.16 or .4 percent, to $44.02.

Chevron rose $.88 or .8 percent, to $118.13.

ConocoPhillips rose $.32 or .5 percent, to $58.53.

Exxon Mobil Corp. fell $.21 or .2 percent, to $92.09.

Marathon Oil Corp. fell $.14 or .5 percent, to $30.95.
