Caterpillar rose $2.49 or 2.7 percent, to $93.17.

Deere & Co. rose $1.63 or 2.0 percent, to $82.00.

Manitowoc rose $.03 or .2 percent, to $14.83.

Terex rose $.41 or 1.6 percent, to $25.55.
