ConAgra Foods Inc. fell $.37 or 1.4 percent, to $25.59.

General Mills Inc. fell $.57 or 1.4 percent, to $38.89.

Hormel Foods Corp. fell $.22 or .8 percent, to $28.98.

Kellogg fell $.63 or 1.2 percent, to $50.19.

Kraft Foods Inc. fell $.20 or .5 percent, to $39.93.

Smithfield Foods Inc. rose $.32 or 1.6 percent, to $20.59.

J.M. Smucker Co. fell $.93 or 1.1 percent, to $86.11.

Tyson Foods Inc. rose $.11 or .7 percent, to $16.46.
