NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top telecom companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:

AT&T Inc. fell $.50 or 1.3 percent, to $37.65.

Sprint Nextel rose $.12 or 2.3 percent, to $5.32.

Verizon Communications Inc. fell $.78 or 1.7 percent, to $44.81.
