Walt Disney Co. fell $.02 or percent, to $52.58.

Gannett rose $.34 or 1.9 percent, to $17.80.

New York Times Co. rose $.14 or 1.4 percent, to $9.80.

News Corp. rose $.04 or .2 percent, to $24.77.

Time Warner Inc. rose $.24 or .5 percent, to $44.57.

Viacom Inc. fell $.37 or .7 percent, to $52.90.
