Apollo Group rose $.34 or 1.2 percent, to $29.21.

Career Education Corp. rose $.06 or 1.6 percent, to $3.88.

DeVry rose $.57 or 2.6 percent, to $22.66.

Strayer Education Inc. rose $1.40 or 2.1 percent, to $68.59.
