Capital One Financial Corp. rose $.50 or .8 percent, to $59.48.

Discover Financial Services rose $.06 or .2 percent, to $39.32.

Mastercard fell $2.42 or .5 percent, to $452.84.

Visa Inc. fell $.31 or .2 percent, to $134.67.
