Apollo Group rose $.66 or 2.3 percent, to $29.40.

Career Education Corp. rose $.14 or 3.6 percent, to $3.99.

DeVry rose $.39 or 1.8 percent, to $22.04.

Strayer Education Inc. rose $.69 or 1.0 percent, to $71.01.
