Rhode Island gas prices up 4 cents


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices in Rhode Island have risen by four cents.

AAA Southern New England said Monday that the average cost of a gallon of regular in the state is $3.88.

Prices in Rhode Island are up 13 cents in the past month. The state's average is six cents more than the national average of $3.82 a gallon.

Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.74 at this time last year.
