NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

AGIC International & Premium Strategy Fund : Approximately 290,500 shares changed hands, a 572.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.53 or 4.8 percent to $10.53.

Bio-Rad Labs B : Approximately 600 shares changed hands, a 439.0 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $104.80.

Blackrock Muniyield Pennsylvania Insured Fund : Approximately 80,800 shares changed hands, a 385.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.17 or 1.1 percent to $16.30.

Cedar Realty Trust Inc. : Approximately 1,195,400 shares changed hands, a 367.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.36 or 6.3 percent to $5.31.

General Steel : Approximately 574,000 shares changed hands, a 697.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.27 or 26.2 percent to $1.30.

LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. : Approximately 5,820,200 shares changed hands, a 458.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.80 or 8.7 percent to $8.35.

Nordion Inc. : Approximately 6,094,500 shares changed hands, a 2,211.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $3.85 or 36.2 percent to $6.80.

Nortel Inversora SA : Approximately 39,000 shares changed hands, a 679.1 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.82 or 7.3 percent to $10.40.
