NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Amrep Corp. : Approximately 26,800 shares changed hands, a 667.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.62 or 10.5 percent to $5.27.

BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust : Approximately 2,076,700 shares changed hands, a 1,485.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $16.69 or 17.9 percent to $76.77.

Dover Motorsports Inc. : Approximately 582,100 shares changed hands, a 5,527.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.14 or 10.8 percent to $1.44.

Dycom Inds Inc. : Approximately 4,452,700 shares changed hands, a 1,251.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $3.60 or 19.1 percent to $15.28.

EPAM Systems Inc. : Approximately 1,530,800 shares changed hands, a 1,183.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $17.97.

Nam Tai Electronics Inc. : Approximately 3,445,000 shares changed hands, a 1,092.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.10 or 1.0 percent to $9.80.

Seabright Holdings Inc. : Approximately 3,229,700 shares changed hands, a 1,652.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.01 or .1 percent to $10.95.
