Carnival rose $.20 or .6 percent, to $35.18.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. fell $.18 or .4 percent, to $42.52.

MGM Resorts International rose $.11 or 1.1 percent, to $10.15.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.34 or .9 percent, to $37.60.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. rose $.33 or 1.2 percent, to $27.27.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. rose $.63 or 1.2 percent, to $55.05.

Wynn Resorts fell $.31 or .3 percent, to $104.92.
