JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant has issued an order banning price gouging in south Mississippi during Isaac.
The order, signed Monday, applies to all counties through which Interstate 20 passes, and all counties south of there. The interstate runs from Vicksburg through Jackson to Meridian.
Attorney General Jim Hood says his office has received some complaints of price gouging.
Hood said he cautions people not to take advantage of people fleeing the storm. Hood said most price-gouging complaints involved hotel and gasoline prices.
