NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top utilities companies are down at 10 a.m.:

American Electric Power Co. fell $.16 or .4 percent, to $42.65.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. fell $.05 or .1 percent, to $61.19.

Dominion Resources Inc. fell $.13 or .2 percent, to $53.92.

Duke Energy Corp. fell $.26 or .4 percent, to $65.25.

Exelon fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $37.03.

PG&E fell $.24 or .5 percent, to $43.74.

Southern Co. fell $.24 or .5 percent, to $45.79.
