Barrick Gold Corp. rose $.43 or 1.1 percent, to $37.91.

Gold Fields fell $.09 or .7 percent, to $12.63.

GoldCorp. rose $.34 or .9 percent, to $40.25.

Newmont Mining Corp. rose $.09 or .2 percent, to $49.13.
