Capital One Financial Corp. fell $.47 or .8 percent, to $56.36.

Discover Financial Services fell $.42 or 1.1 percent, to $38.50.

Mastercard rose $.56 or .1 percent, to $423.98.

Visa Inc. rose $.31 or .2 percent, to $127.97.
