NYSE stocks posting largest volume increases


NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

Callaway Golf Co. : Approximately 1,562,100 shares changed hands, a 326.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.41 or 6.6 percent to $5.80.

Eastern American Natural Gas Trust : Approximately 10,600 shares changed hands, a 338.2 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.13 or .6 percent to $21.15.

Equus II Inc. : Approximately 28,500 shares changed hands, a 268.7 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.02 or .9 percent to $2.28.

General Growth Properties Inc. : Approximately 19,497,000 shares changed hands, a 349.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.56 or 2.8 percent to $19.76.

Gray Television A : Approximately 2,700 shares changed hands, a 379.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.15 or 9.1 percent to $1.50.

Eli Lilly & Co. : Approximately 33,133,800 shares changed hands, a 477.6 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.46 or 3.4 percent to $43.86.

MacQuarie First Trust Global Infrastructure Util Div In : Approximately 89,500 shares changed hands, a 336.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.71 or 4.4 percent to $15.39.
