Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.43 or .7 percent, to $61.42.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.35 or .7 percent, to $53.49.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.23 or .4 percent, to $65.47.

Exelon fell $.03 or .1 percent, to $36.83.

PG&E rose $.28 or .6 percent, to $44.07.

Southern Co. rose $.30 or .7 percent, to $45.88.
