Amgen Inc. rose $.10 or .1 percent, to $83.76.

Biogen Idec rose $1.10 or .8 percent, to $146.25.

Celgene Corp. rose $.12 or .2 percent, to $71.59.

Gilead Sciences Inc. rose $1.24 or 2.2 percent, to $57.29.
