Caterpillar fell $.82 or .9 percent, to $87.90.

Deere & Co. fell $.68 or .9 percent, to $76.35.

Manitowoc fell $.29 or 2.2 percent, to $12.80.

Terex fell $.45 or 2.1 percent, to $20.97.
