Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices either fell or were flat Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was unchanged at $8.5675 a bushel; December corn slipped 0.75 cent to $7.9150 a bushel; December oats were flat at $3.7050 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 0.75 cent to $16 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.2610 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.44 a pound; while October lean hogs were unchanged at 77.05 cents a pound.
