Amgen Inc. rose $.45 or .6 percent, to $81.82.

Biogen Idec fell $1.20 or .8 percent, to $143.85.

Celgene Corp. fell $.46 or .6 percent, to $71.31.

Gilead Sciences Inc. fell $.05 or .1 percent, to $56.77.
