Clorox rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $72.22.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. fell $1.23 or 1.2 percent, to $105.37.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. fell $.29 or .3 percent, to $86.88.

Procter & Gamble Co. fell $.50 or .8 percent, to $63.51.
